Thanks for coming to check out my blog! I've always enjoyed taking pictures, but within the last year my good friend Jeff really helped me to get back into it. Jeff wrote all of the code for this part of my site, as he did for his own. I couldn't have done it without him.

I have several goals in mind for this project- the first being getting into the habit of taking more pictures that I'm proud of. I like sharing my work and hearing feedback. Also, I have friends and family all over the country and I think it's a great way to let them know where I am and what I'm up to. Lastly, it's just fun having your own little corner of the world to fill as you wish.

A note about the photos- my intent is to put up images that I find intriguing or enjoyable. Sometimes that will mean extensive editing in photoshop, sometimes it will be a picture I've scanned from an old 3x5 out of a shoe box. Pictures can bring us back to places we've forgotten, tell us stories we didn't know were there, or sometimes just make us laugh. Whether you're in a cubicle at work, checking in from school or just bored on a lazy saturday I hope my pictures give you a few moments of enjoyment when you click in.
