If you look very closely at the lower left hand corner of the picture, you can see a small speck of orange. It's the paddle of one of these kayakers. It was stuck ramrod-straight into the base of one of the falls at Great Falls National Park. We watched them try to fish it out for 20 or 30 minutes before they gave up.
